In the hills of Alto Penedès, at an altitude of 800 metres, the adventure of Blanc Inicial begins. Here, amidst cool breezes and chalky soils, the grapes grow biodynamically and with respect for nature. No chemicals, but pure craftsmanship from the collective of winemakers behind Brot Colectivo.
The Blanc Inicial is fresh, lively and refined. Made from macabeo, riesling and xarello, with notes of citrus, white flowers and a subtle minerality.
Who/what is BROT?
BROT is a collective of biodynamic winemakers who together create unique terroir wines. Jordi Valles, Isidre Hugas, Roser Vendrell, Josep Massana, Quim Mallofré and Josep Maria Canti are the driving force behind this project. With their biodynamic approach, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, they know how to make wines that perfectly reflect the character of their terroir.
The vineyards are located at 800 meters altitude in Alto Penedès, which ensures cooler temperatures and fresh, clean wines with a subtle alcohol percentage. The chalky soil adds a refined minerality, which gives the wines extra depth and complexity. In short, a project that we are super excited about!
