Kelet Cuvée
If you’re looking for something that you won’t find in just any store, Kristinus’ Kelet Cuvée is just what you need. This super complex cuvée is a blend of Furmint, Grüner Veltliner and Sauvignon Blanc, matured in both an amphora and a wooden barrel – creating a layered, almost mysterious taste experience.
In the glass: depth, energy, and an explosion of aromas. Think ripe citrus, green herbs, and a hint of white blossom. The wood aging gives it a subtle, smoky undertone, but the amphora adds an earthiness that balances it all out. The mouthfeel is full yet refreshing, a wine you won't soon forget.
The bottle shape says it all: this is not your average wine. 100% organic, with respect for nature and it is a wine that only really comes to life at 10-13°C. Let it breathe and the magic unfolds...
Kristinus is located on the southwestern shore of Balaton, the largest natural lake in Central Europe. A unique winery that will be Demeter certified in September 2022. They are passionate about promoting soil health and biodiversity. Permaculture, ecology islands, insect hotels and local crops ensure healthy grapes. By fermenting a large part of their wines in clay barrels, the grapes get their natural fruity character. Kékfrankos, Furmint and Olaszrizling are the stars of their vineyard.
