Róka Rosé
A light smokiness and hints of gunpowder (yes, that's right) fill the nose before the other flavours of ripe strawberries, rhubarb and juicy peaches are revealed. The rosé has a creamy texture, and the refreshing acidity provides balance. The initial savoury-sweet taste gives way to a salty-savoury finish, yuck! A rosé for the non-rosé lover! The wine pairs well with grilled chicken, summer salads and soft white cheeses.
Spontaneously fermented, matured for five months on fine lees, minimally filtered and organic.
Kristinus is located on the southwestern shore of Balaton, the largest natural lake in Central Europe. A unique winery that will be Demeter certified in September 2022. They are passionate about promoting soil health and biodiversity. Permaculture, ecology islands, insect hotels and local crops ensure healthy grapes. By fermenting a large part of their wines in clay barrels, the grapes get their natural fruity character. Kékfrankos, Furmint and Olaszrizling are the stars of their vineyard.
