A fantastic Pet-Nat from the Alto Douro region of Portugal. Sourced from 2 hectares of vineyards with 10-35 year old vines planted on slate and granite soils. The grapes are harvested by hand in early September, undergo sorting in the vineyard and full pressing without time on the skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with wild yeasts for about four weeks with temperature control. Bottled after the first fermentation. This wine is strongly aromatic with a fine bubble, recognizable notes of citrus, exotic fruit and white blossoms.
